BGMI Air Closed Beta: Eligibility, Audition Video and City Checklist

The BGMI Air closed beta is a selected-player opportunity before the public launch. If you want to apply, read Krafton’s official audition terms before making a video or planning travel. The useful first step is checking whether you can meet the entry conditions and attend the city you choose.

Who can apply for the BGMI Air closed beta?

The terms require entrants to be at least 18, live in India, hold a BGMI account in good standing and have government photo identification. Applicants must be able to pay their own travel costs. The expected sessions are Mumbai on 20 November, Delhi on 22 November and Kolkata on 24 November 2026; selected participants receive their assigned details privately.

Entry uses an original 15–60-second video explaining why you should get the first chance to play. The form is linked from the official @BGMIAir Instagram bio. A video can be an Instagram Reel, YouTube Short or accessible Google Drive file. Read the complete terms for eligibility, permissions, judging and confidentiality before submitting.

Plan a clear audition rather than a long montage

A short video works best when it answers one question directly. Draft two or three sentences about your connection to mobile gaming, what you hope to learn from Air and the sort of feedback you could offer. Choose a point you can explain honestly rather than promising a dramatic achievement you cannot demonstrate.

For example, you might explain how storage constraints affect your current playing routine, then describe what you would pay attention to during a test. That gives the reviewer a concrete reason for your interest. It is a suggested approach to your answer, not a guarantee of selection or an official scoring formula.

Record in a quiet place and listen back with ordinary earphones. Your voice should be clear without subtitles doing all the work. Keep the camera steady, leave a little space around your face and check that the opening seconds explain the purpose of the clip. Trim pauses while keeping your response natural.

Check the video link before submitting the form

Save a copy of your final video before uploading it. Open the submitted link in a signed-out browser window, or ask someone you trust to check whether it plays without requesting access. A link that works only for the account owner can create an avoidable problem.

Use a filename that you can recognise later and make sure you have copied the final version’s link. Check the form carefully before sending it, particularly the contact information, player details and selected city. Keep a private note of when you applied and the route you used so you can identify genuine follow-up messages.

Do not include private documents in the public video. Read the organiser’s instructions about identity verification and use the specified secure process if you are shortlisted. An application is also a permission decision: understand how the video and your likeness may be used before agreeing.

Work out attendance before you commit

Make a rough travel plan for the city you could realistically attend. Include the journey to the venue, meals and the possibility of an overnight stay. Treat that calculation as preparation, and wait for verified event instructions before buying non-refundable tickets.

Keep family or colleagues informed about time you may need away, but respect any confidentiality conditions that apply to selected entrants. Read the invitation in full rather than forwarding screenshots into a public gaming group. If anything is unclear, ask the organiser through the support route named in the terms.

A beta application is separate from public access

Krafton’s launch announcement puts the public release on 10 December and reports 14 million pre-registrations. That registration milestone describes interest in the game; it does not describe how many beta seats exist or your odds of receiving one.

If you only want to play at launch, follow the official release route instead of treating the audition as a required installation step. For more release information, see Bootpoot’s BGMI Air launch and storage guide.
