CBSE Class 10 Date Sheet 2027: Main Subject Dates and a Revision Plan

The CBSE Class 10 date sheet 2027 is available in the board’s official timetable PDF, issued on 6 November. The Class 10 schedule runs from 16 February to 9 March 2027. Your personal exam calendar should contain only the subjects and codes you are registered to take.

These selected papers are listed from 10:30am to 1:30pm IST. Other subjects can have different durations. Check the complete PDF for your optional papers and follow the admit-card instructions when they are issued.
Build your own calendar before making a study timetable
Start with a blank page and write down your registered subjects. Add the subject code beside each name. This is especially useful when two courses have similar names, such as different English courses or the two mathematics options. Ask your school if you are unsure which entry applies to you.
Copy each relevant date into the same calendar, then compare the finished list with the PDF a second time. A parent, teacher or classmate can help check the transcription. Keep the downloaded timetable with your notes so a cropped screenshot does not become your only record.
Use one clear version as your everyday calendar. If you maintain both a wall calendar and a phone reminder, update them together. Avoid collecting several forwarded schedules with slightly different formatting; that makes it harder to identify which one you used when planning a particular week.
Turn the gaps between papers into a realistic revision plan
First list the chapters or skills you still need to improve in each subject. Separate tasks you can finish in a short session from those needing sustained practice. “Review two weak algebra topics” is easier to schedule and evaluate than “finish maths” written across an entire day.
Do not leave a difficult subject untouched simply because its examination appears later. Use the weeks before the examination period to cover the full syllabus, then use the gaps for focused revision and practice. A gap is a chance to consolidate work, not a reliable substitute for learning a large section from the beginning.
Give each practice session a specific outcome. You might solve a set of questions without notes, check the answers and record the mistakes you made. Revisit that small mistake list later instead of repeatedly rereading a chapter you already recognise.
Practise the work you will actually need to produce
For mathematics and science, show the steps in your written answers and check units, signs and labels. For languages, practise writing within a time limit rather than relying entirely on reading. For longer answers, work on explaining a point clearly and supporting it with the information the question asks for.
Choose practice material through the board or your school. CBSE’s official website links to its examination and academic resources. Check that a sample paper matches your class, subject and examination session before using its structure as a guide.
After a timed paper, spend time reviewing it. Mark questions you misunderstood, answers that were incomplete and topics where you ran out of time. A useful practice paper should change what you study next, rather than simply adding another completed sheet to a pile.
Keep school instructions beside your personal plan
Ask your school about internal assessments, practical work and any documents you need to collect. Keep those tasks separate from the written-paper calendar so nothing disappears behind the larger examination dates. Leave space for school notices and later board updates.
Plan a consistent sleep routine and a manageable daily workload. Include breaks and some buffer time for a difficult topic or an unexpected school task. A timetable you can follow steadily is more useful than an ambitious plan that needs to be rewritten every evening.
For a sibling in the senior class, use Bootpoot’s Class 12 timetable guide. For your own preparation, keep the Class 10 subject codes, verified dates and a short weekly task list together.
