What Garena confirms for the India app
Garena’s 27 October announcement says Free Fire India became available free on Google Play and the App Store from 28 October 2026. It also identifies a Diwali campaign running until 15 November. That establishes a current event window, but individual rewards and tasks should be checked in the game rather than assumed from an old promotional image.
The announcement describes features including parental consent for users under 18, break reminders, playtime limits and spending caps. Follow the account’s actual onboarding requirements. A store age-rating badge and the game’s account or parental-consent process serve different purposes and should not be treated as substitutes for one another.
Identify the official Android listing
The Google Play listing for Free Fire India identifies the publisher as Garena International III and uses the package ID com.garena.game.ffi. Check those details when comparing search results. Free Fire India and Free Fire MAX are separately named store entries; the presence of one does not establish that you have installed the other.
